Absolutely love my Stingray. This thing is awesome. However - I thought I'd try to set it apart just a bit.

I tried black too but in the end I'd digging the simplicity and contrast of the parchment guard. I actually think tort looks the best but the solid color gives it a simple & mellow vibe.

What do you folks think?

That looks great! I almost always prefer a solid, contrasting color to tortoise shell on electric guitars. Makes that finish color a lot more intriguing to me.

This looks classy. First thing I thought about when I got my Stingray was about pickguard possibilities. So far, I’m leaning toward tortoise with my natural.

The white goes well with the metal hardware, both look great against the black finish

Not my side of the fence but my take on pickguard choices is usually if it’s a solid colour with not too much going on I go for MOP or Tort etc. Want to show the paint off, something plain.
