I think for Bongos, both are keepers for me. The color patterns on both I find to be amazing.

Brash, what are your thoughts on the sonic differences between the BFR and Barolo?

To be honest work has been bending me over the table alot lately so I havent had much time to delve into the sound and feel differences. I do the there is a sound difference though, just based on sound through my little box headphone amp. First thoughts are that the maple board adds a little brightness as does the alder body.

When I have time to sit, I'll do some comparison sounds by running everything flat on both and doing some sound samples
