Question JP6 3-way toggle too stiff?

Original JP6 model. Piezo toggle switch is smooth, but the magnetics 3-way toggle is very stiff... is there anything that can be done to make it slide more smoothly?

Will WD-40 have the same effect?

I wouldn’t use WD-40. It’s a water displacement. As in water displacement 40.
Deoxit is what you want.
