Has anybody bent their Trem arm at a different angle?

I was tooling around on my 2005 Albert tonight and was thinking that the arm was bent up too high?

mayne I should do a "Dave Gilmour" and bend it a bit to a flatter angle?

Sure, grab the short end with a pair of pliers and have at it.

You can fit an EB guitar, equipped with a classic trem, in an EB case without removing the arm. I can't speak for the Floyd trem as I have never owned a Floyd equipped guitar.

Most arms can and should be bent for comfort. Find a vise and wrap your arm in a wash cloth or something to keep it forgetting scratched up. Be careful and bend a little then look and test. If you don't have a vise maybe there's a good spot on your car or a trailer hitch to use.
