Help! Brand new expression overdrive malfunktion

Hi! Just got the pedal today. When starring the movement from zero, a loud bass boost starts. Even when tone on brightest setting its very loud. The pedal is useless in its current state. When sweeping slowly the caracter of the pedal changes in steps. Live in Norway, so not so easy sending it in. Help needed!

Did you purchase it from a local shop? I'd contact them first- your dealer/distributor should be able to help get you a replacement.
