Why is the coil split sound of Luke3 and LK100D different?

Hello! I have both Luke3 and LK100D.
As you know, these two models are equipped with the same pickup (Dimazio Transition).

The sound of the LK100D is very good.
However, the coil split sound of the 2nd and 4th positions is a bit unfortunate.
This is because the volume loss is greater than Luke3.
Of course, when using Coil Split, it is natural that the volume is reduced.
However, Luke3 has a natural sound, and the LK100D has a slightly larger volume loss, making it soundless.

Why is there a difference when using the same pickup?
Which parts will be similar if replaced?

The Luke 3 has several trim pots on the active preamp to adjust both the 2 and 4 position volume, as well as the boost. This is why there is very little volume loss.

I do not know if the LK100D has the same controls on its preamp. You would have to open the control cavity and look.
