Braided Cable

What material is on the braided cable? I've got some cables with tech flex braid on them. Does EB use something similar, or is it a cloth braid?

I don't know what it's made from (I'd guess nylon) but it's a real braid. Seems really nice. Here's a close up of one of mine.
