Thanks for the quick response! I have a majesty in Kinetic Blue - not sure if it's pre 2019. If the knobs have an adjustable screw - then, in theory, it should work, right?

Why wouldn't music man put on the front of the packaging that the flat wounds bass strings are only for short scales. I just wasted $35 :(

I had to sign up to the forum when I read this thread.

My problem is worse. I have a jp13 and get the same annoying high pitch sound. AND, my mono jack doesn't work AT ALL, I get no sound coming...
