Not a show I would normally watch, but,my nephew, Jason Wilkes is on the show and is on Blake Sheltons team. Proud uncle moment!

Any chance of buying the buttons themselves? I have 4 other basses I want to put these on,but dont need the strap protion.
Dozens. Pretty happy with the current stable. Another Bongo 5,and Sterling 4 HS would be nice though.
If you are trying to get a Jaco type vibe, its not going to happen.
Always my go to 5 string. Never letting it go.
That bass looks familiar..:)
Why did you let it get to that point before you brought it up here?
Play the 5 string exclusively for a while. Eventually you will be able to switch between the 4 and 5 with no problem at all.
Start with a complete setup using fresh strings. Put everything back to factory recommended specs.
The Sterling will do whatever you want it to. My personal preference is the HS ( I own 4) or the HH. Having 5 different coil combinations at the flip of a switch is a truly beautiful thing. Comfy...
I comes with a black guard and a tort. The tort one will be on there. I just love position 4 on the HS which is coils 2 and 3. Its magical!
I have this thing for the HS configuration and matching headstocks. Sterling HS number 4!28946
The best sounding MM bass I ever heard was the 30th Anniversary Stingray.
I'll second that!
Position 4 is the magic spot on the Sterling HS.
Just got my first set of these. The A string was dead out of the package. Bummer. Hopefully getting a replacement soon. I like that way they are voiced, and I hope they hold up.
The Sterling 5 has been my first choice of 5 string since they were introduced. I prefer the HS but the HH will do anything you want it to. Welcome to the club!
HS Sterling.
You said "I want to have the Stingray sound" so wouldn't it make sense to have the components that created that sound? Music Man basses are the least modified for a good reason. They work just fine...
Have this on the way. Perfect mate for my HH/Piezo Bongo 5. Same color too! Never heard an H Bongo before. What am I getting into?
No words needed.
I own both. The answer is yes. Only the Bongo HS and HH have the rear pickup moved back.
The rear pickup on the H and HH are in the same place. I wouldn't mod the bass at all. I'l learn to play the HH like it is,I did,or sell it and get an H.
Pressurewounds are great for fretless. Easy on the fingers and fingerboard.
