If it is a set that can be replaced with a single pack of EBs, it would be the Slinky Flatwound 45-105 rather than a Group II/III hybrid (which to my knowledge does not exist).
The Ti's gauges...
Have you tried pure nickels? Maybe even in a wound G variant?
Personally, for those big chords I like very "soft" strings that swing as freely as possible. My Silo is sporting 8s and I love it!
Good to hear and thanks for the feedback! :)
It's always nice to find solutions to gear problems. Your answer will be helpful to another player, if they google the problem.
Have you tried picking the e-string and then muting the bit between nut and tuning machine?
Depending on the nut (and for what string gauge it is filed) gently pressing the string down behind the...
This.
And it can be a wanted part of the performance! It's a Rock'n Roll thing.
Mr. Stanley knows a thing or two about it:

Nice find, congratulations!

Two band EQ, maple neck, four strings. What's not to like? :)
OK, I am not a fan of "relics" either, but the instrument under the worn paint is tempting!
Excellent!
That gave some much needed laughs! :D
Congratualtions!
The Bongo just loves bold colours and this is a bass that you actually wear.
(Still looking for a desert gold 5H).
Interesting!
Keep them coming! Anyone with a snug fit for a Silo?
Happy Birthday and congratulations on an awesome family, too!
Congratulations also on the stylish guitar, you are wearing it well. Good choice!
Congratulations!
She looks gorgeous, lively but not overdone. And this seems to be the very guitar from the EBMM product photo shoot? Nice catch indeed! :)
Cameron,
my best guess is that your suspected strings are simply a couple years old. "Battle of the Bands" last happenend in 2015, if I am not mistaken, and the packaging was redesigend since.

Hi Igor, I am afraid EB has never published such numbers.
Have you tried emailing Daniel at the EB support? They are ones who should know - if not in absolute numbers, they might at least give...
That is a lot, but keep going!
As I recall, your posts were friendly, funny, informative, constructive and of course pretty much the finest moderation I have seen in about 25 years of surfing the...
I hope I am not too late with this:
You will want to loosen the strings and springs before readjusting that post (which seems to be sitting quite a few turns higher than necessary or indeed...
I need to get my hands on a Luke III and a Cutlass to decide which one is for me. I like the new colours on both of them!
Also, I really like that EBMM keep going forward, with evolution and...
Happy Birthday and many returns! And thank you for so many inspirational tools!
Oh, and 65 is the new 40 ... ;)
The VP jr. Tuner now has been announced for March 2020, see NAMM blog post from Ernie Ball Co.

Really looks interesting! :)
Hah!
I say, just do it! I have a skinny stringed slab of wood here and I find it is a) fun and b) helps me on the bass side of music. It's fun to explore chords both vertically and horizontally up...
This must be the most un-bluesy Blue I have ever seen on a guitar! In fact it does look quite happy and alive. :)
Congratulaions Pete, and I believe you deserve it, happy playing!
Thanks again! =)
SilosRock, I think the wood used for the fingerboard might be Jatoba. Never heard of this wood before but it has long been used for floors and furniture.
I actually had a hard...
Thanks guys! :)
The finish is indeed nice and on the picture it is kind of glowing in the sun. It's actually a bit "lighter" than what I thought a Tobacco Burst would look like, to my eye it's...
Soooo ... have been around for a while, following the forums and the company, seen a lot of finishes and indeed whole instruments come and go, yet somehow funds and offerings never came together....
