I have 9.5s on a guitar and like them a lot
I swapped to10s the 11 sounded really good and I could bend with them but the back of my hand would ache after a while after playing them
My cutlass did the same thing after I had it a few short months
That could be I never thought about that
I know I checked all the specs on paper not a whole to of difference
