haha,...for a moment.... just ~4 weeks ago I bought a set of AL HH-buckers 2nd hand to fit them in my SUB1. They match that guitar perfectly - but I bought them because I knew of their exclusivity
interesting that you find the stock humbuckers much different in the Y2D than in the standard Morse.
the wiring sounds very useful, the important "add bridge" options are included in the Y2D-wiring,...
have already plans how to wire it?
great collection! what a beautiful tobacco burst with MM90s!
wow!!
classy
I like the "old" standard models with plain tops etc.
Yeah, in a thread of mine he said: "Its my best failure."

... and - a very nice guitar!!
Thank you. Is this you?
You´re welcome! :D:cool:
Maybe it was posted before (don´t know), but there is a special about EVH and the development of his signature guitar with Music Man and DiMarzio. Great stories, insights and pictures!...
I completely understand you not liking heavy guitars. Your AL seems heavy.
But - why does your shop not do refunds? Did you try it before buying or did you buy online?
very nice guitar
I really do remember well the feeling of owning a high end guitar for the first time. It was my Morse. I will never regret buying it, it gave me so much
Happy Birthday, Sterling!
Hey Ho, let´s go!
wow great! I love these old EBMMs. I owned a similar one around 2008. A 1993 trans red HSH hardtail silo. It was superb. And I own a 1994 AL. The old ones rock!
nice one! Not a really Bon Jovi or Sambora fan, but they have their moments. This one is done really great from you!
hey Jeff, thanks for your open words.
Of course it was not very serious - it´s completely up to you, which guitars you collect and play.
And, yes you did try to own and play a Morse (I didn´t...
I'm sorry for you and hope you get the guitar back.
From your pics, she´s a beauty - and yours!!
Damn - stealing guitars is absolutely beyond imagination
Go Jeff! Yess a Morse - That would be cool! :D
edit: a Morse.... or five
interesting thought. will try this with my reflex which I love but feels a little stiff compared to the Morse. Indeed I´ve set the tremolo that it just even sits on the body. If I bend, it moves.
