How are you playing the strings? I have found that some people tend to play the B string differently, and if you make it oscillate in a more up/down directly, you will get more buzz. In general, it...

Have you tried setting up the stingray with the springs tighter? If the tremolo is moving when you bend, then it will feel stiffer.

I read an article describing how Germanium fuzz pedals "clean up" when you turn down the guitar volume, but Silicon fuzz pedals don't, and just get softer with the same amount of fuzz.

    I'm looking...

That is very strange. The Single Coils used on the Luke should be noiseless. They are based on the "Area" pickups by Dimarzio, from what I remember. The gain trim pot raises the output in the "notch"...

That 5 on the top of the guitar, is that on top of the finish, or under it?

Also, that neck plate looks almost like the serial number is etched onto it, not stamped.

If their order system isn't really set up for that kind of thing, it isn't exactly easy to do. Manufacturing is like a dance, and if someone interrupts things go all screwy. That's what happens when...

I see some youtube / facebook players pretty much spray down their strings right before they play to avoid squeak or make them more slippery or something.

Yeah, don't be one of those guys.

Yeah, this is definitely new territory for EBMM. I don't really want a new anything that looks used. Plenty of used ones out there, though then you need to worry about hidden problems.

Are you sure the headstock is bent forward from the string pressure? Fender headstocks use string trees, so I'm not sure it really matters.
