Could also be the Sterling is discontinued because there is a new Sterling Special coming out. Hopefully it is something like this.

I do really like the HS so agree that it is worth considering. My first Ray was an HS
I never understood the idea of a reliced bass. Also don't understand why anyone would want to buy jeans that are sold with pre-cut holes. Not my thing for sure.

If the 4HH was fretless, would have had a difficult choice! Think it would have won out.
Was thinking about getting the BFR 4 fretless recently. Glad never pulled the trigger. Would have had a bit of buyers remorse if I did and saw the 5 come out.
Not sure if it makes sense that the...
Stingrays used to have Ceramic pickups. In March of 2008 they were changed to be Alnico pickups.
If your 2008 was produced at the beginning of the year it would have ceramic pickups and your 2010...
If you want classic style, there is the Stingray Classic. I really would love to see a Stingray 4H with the switching of the 5H. Feel they missed an opportunity to do this with the Stingray...
I thought the post was cool and enjoyed the thread, except for maybe one post! ;).
But everyone is different so what works for some does not necessarily work for others
Some of the bass...

Had posted a pic of my bongos in this thread:

Yes The 2015 was a fretted Hp. Ordered a fretless H in 2017 to match the color when I swapped the necks.
Seem to remember these may have only been released in Europe and not in the US?
