I can't remember what mine was set at originally but there is a trim pot in the control panel where you can adjust the amount :)

My LIII's are Louder than my II, but then I find my LII quieter than all my guitars. I really enjoy the transition pickups, I find they have a lot of clarity but have a big 'raw' quality about them.

If you head to the Musicman website, there will be a control function diagram for each guitar :)

Position 1: Bridge (series)
Position 2: outside coils (parallel)
Position 3: both pickups...

It's there on the blueberry :) it's just a lot more noticeable on the hazel finish

I know, its just cool they allowed the finish to be named that if you google what tumescent can mean :)

My blueberry burst looks quite dark in low light as well. I think you will still be able to order the blueberry burst after the 31st, some of the original BFR colours will be getting cut though like...
