So what's everyone's thoughts on the new colors?
suuuper hoping that raspberry burst is more pink than purple
I would like to ammend my statement about headless instruments when saying that I couldn't see any benefits other than weight and balance distribution. I got to work with a buddy who lives for...
I'd be super down for that. I was about to order a pink sterling until I saw it still had the 9v electronics
being smallish/ergonomic, either the neck being "flatter" with a tighter spacing and or the body being smaller. TBH I dont even play my stingray special because its just too fat and the neck feels...
Just keep in mind that if you order yours from the vault you'll be getting a black/pink/black guard but you won't have matching headstock
I'd love a 5. And as always id stab myself on a live stream for some. Sort of 24 fanned fret
Preferably in pink
It's so hot in color that it does heavily change tone in different light setting.
Kinda want a shell pink bongo but I do enjoy the scarcity of colors. Makes the ones that AR different feel exclusive.
No, they aren't, we both know fender doesn't make them.
But nobody is asking for a fanned p or j because they exist and can be purchased.
The closest we have to an ebmm is a Samuel Martyn from...
I don't have the answer to your question, but I think Stainless steel would be an upgrade since they would be very resistant to wear like nickel. But it does change your tone.
Sorry I don't have...
Fwiw I assume people don't clamor about a fanned p or j because they exist
Idk how to post pics here but I have a few of mine on my IG and I can send you some direct if you want. Message me about it @marcmurder
Welcome to the #PinKrew
Wouldn't headless. I don't need the weight or balance change. Just fanned fret.
Sick collection! Welcome! If ya ever wanna get rid of that reflex I know a guy looking for one
I'd been thinking of getting a fretless unlined and having it refretted for multiscale, having the nut reslotted, and swapping the bridge for solo rails to accommodate. the only thing stopping me is...
I can't speak for headless, but fanned fret. HUGE FAN. the ease of playing is way higher. Especially when doing really complicated technical parts. The other factor that has me, is the tuning...
been thinking about a guitar for a while. i REALLY want that jason richardson cutlass 7 but it wont get used as much as it deserves to
I'd been thinking about it. And maybe not even a ray or a bongo. I'd be super excited for a new design in the lineup for the fanned and/or headless bass.
But one can only hope
Like i said, im for it but probably not in combination.
if it were up to me id rather have a fanned fret over headless, in fact id pay a bug buck for a fanned fret. the playability is great, and...
I'm all for it, but id pay an insane amount for a 36ish-34 scale fanned fret bongo before a headless bongo.
It would be nice, but im not gonna keep too much an eye on it. Since I'm looking for a 4 string I'm holding off and hoping for a new fancy release sometime soon. Unless a sick dead comes by
Oof. For that price I'd rather go new. But I'd be going on 5 string number 4 and no 4 string.
Correct. I thought maybe the boys would still be able to make one, but nope; can't even make a special order. I'm. Thinking I'd hold out for a while to see if anything cool comes along.
