Did any Caprice basses ever make it in to Canada? Looking to try one.
Does anyone know if any Caprice basses are available in stores in Ontario Canada? It seems as though Long & McQuade took over most stores and are mostly pushing Fender. I'd really like to demo a...
I bought my used Musicman Sterling a little over a year ago from 12th Fret in Toronto. It came with a good setup but now I'm just doing a few tweaks and discovered one of the saddle screw heads is...
My wife was test driving a Kia Sportage last year and just for fun we test drove a Soul. I thought it was a horrible ride. Some people obviously like them because you see them on the road, but I...
I hate to say but I picked up a used, but absolute mint Sterling bass at a reputable store in Toronto for $800. That was the asking price. I felt guilty to ask it was firm and just paid that price...
I'm just happy car prices have been coming down in the last few years. Gives me more money to buy EBMM instruments. Lol
As long as everyone got a 10% pay increase this year we're in good shape! :)
Just got back from a ribfest. Last year it was two dollars to add beans and slaw to a half rack. This year it was...
I never liked it. These guitars are already works of art and don't need a badge stuck in the middle of it to be the first thing I noticed about them.
I prefer bass to be a rhythm instrument...an awesome groove can say so much! For lead work I prefer listening to Steve Morse, Albert Lee and Luke. :)
I have to be honest, that demo did nothing to make me want to rush out and get a Sabre. It's a great looking bass, but his demo seemed like it was a quick video showing his quick chops.
Does anyone know if any Sabre basses have made it in to Ontario, Canada yet? I'm itching to try/buy.
That's a beauty! How does EBMM make such awesome looking instruments that are fairly priced? I don't think there is any other company doing the same.
Can you dial the Sabre in to get something...
Is the same as the 2k poly that we spray up here in Canada? Nasty stuff but the off gassing doesn't last long.
Since we are on the subject, what does EBMM clear coat their guitars with?
We breathe the same air as what they are spraying China. We are screwed no matter how you look at it.
I find reverse headstocks often just look goofy.
The blackburst Y2D looks like pure class!
My vote goes to the Sterling.
I don't own one but I wouldn't think twice about buying the Engl Morse!
You guys sound great! Great tone and smooth playing on the AL!
It's too bad that LA Music is a PDN dealer because I find it not a very good place to shop.
Well, I'm not really crazy about the feel of a real P bass so I was hoping I can find something in the MusicMan line of basses.
You definitely should be nervous! Lol. I met Steve last year at a clinic He is a super nice guy but when it comes to playing, there is something out of this world with him. He closes his eyes and...
Thanks guys. I'll have take a road trip to find a Big Al to test. Anybody know if the Sabre will get me anywhere near the P Bass thump. I love the look of those new Sabres.
I only own a MusicMan Sterling so far but want to get a MusicMan bass that will get me more of a P bass thump. Which MusicMan bass will come closest to that? Thanks.
I feel honoured to play a guitar that Steve Morse had a hand in designing. I don't if there is a more versatile, great feeling guitar on the marked for the same price. It looks good too!
