When I had my silo with a floyd, I just left the backplate off and adjusted the tension using the bottom screw the secured the bar.

I stumbled upon her a little while ago. She's pretty dang good. Love the faces too. She's into it and fun to watch.

Congrats! Those are great guitars. This afternoon's practice session was spent on a solo hardtail I have from that era. It's a killer. I really like the pickups on that one.
