My latest MM bass arrived right before the end of the year, nice birthday present to myself. The color is lovely and the bass sounds and feels terrific. Here's the family pic, thanks Pete!

Beautiful!!
Not anytime soon Josh, it's the best HH4 Sterling I own! I picked up an HH4 Stealth Sterling recently that I like so far, but the DD1 is my favorite MM.
I always loved that single martini inlay, the DD1s are still my favorite Dargie.
I'd prefer flames on my Jack Williams Signature!
Doesn't Aqua Sparkle look blue, not green?

Rosewood fingerboard - yes, solid all rosewood neck - no.
Hmm, a hint! I'll change my guess to Cutlass /coral red just because it's what I'm looking for.
If a Classic Ray is your #1 then I'll guess Old Smoothie and mint green
I haven't needed to Plek a MusicMan bass yet, but I have had 4-5 other basses done and every one was better afterwards. If you want no fret buzz and relatively low action it's a very worthwhile...
This is the best news, thanks!
I loved his other quote about that Dargie green prototype. If I remember correctly, it was something like "That is the Abe Vigoda of bass colors".

25th Anniversary Sterling bass is what I'm hoping for!
HH means Dual Humbucking
When MadDog Tom was up visiting some years back we went by BassNW and he handed me a Bongo 6 string. I had never played a 6er before but wow - that bass felt and sounded really great! I didn't end...
Lovely bass, Jack - congrats!
Thanks!
Any news from NAMM on the BFRs?
The pickups on the Big Al always reminded me of the pickups on the original Sterling prototype. The pic is from Gav's awesome EBMM website, of course.

Excellent! I'm very interested to see what you folks have worked up.
Two singles is my favorite settling on my HH Sterling.
I'm not sure you can order that color, this is from the website:
Black, Ivory White, Diamond Blue, Heritage Tobacco Burst
Oddly enough, the Caprice on the website is clear gloss over ash, so...
I'm waiting for another mahogany body/roasted neck PDN offering. I want a mahogany bodied Sterling HH 4!
Hey Josh, it probably is the same one but I'm not sure. I had two identical ones for awhile and sold one off. Do you remember the serial number?
