Nice job. Man, that Valentine is sweet. First time actually hearing one.

Sent.. I appreciate it!
Does anyone know the sizes for the nut and washer used for the Series/Parallel switch in the Reflex (I assume the same size for the Game Changer's toggle)? I tried 3/8" US sized ones usually used for...
Ah, I can understand that. There's a tradeoff here though, since the knobs and mode switching make a difference and you can get so many tones from one. But yes, sometimes it's better to not overthink...
In lieu of no Music Man amps, I kind of think Mesa is a good pairing. They're both an evolution of Fender DNA, both Cali and family owned, and more importantly, both sound great together. Err... and...
Ooh, I forgot that one of my favorite guitarists also used Music Man amps. Tom Verlaine (or actually both him and his counterpart Richard Lloyd used them. The duo in Television). They didn't record...
Guitar Center higher ups don't seem to be playing with a full deck of cards.
I brought back a Reflex from some work done there last week, and one of the things the tech said to me is that that...
I've noticed some occasionally show up online, but are being sold out of Eurozone countries. I've yet to see one come out in the US.
I've never actually played one. What's great about them? Is it...
You're one awesome dad if you got it for her. She's going to be the coolest kid at that college (although I'm sure for more than just this too ;) ).
I guess you could use a tiny stencil for numbers...maybe? I'll leave it to you whether you trust yourselves for such a project. It could be fun.
Personally, I'd just get used to the feel of them...
Both are awesome, but I have to say I like the black more. Something about a Black Armada reminds me of a chopper (bike). Y'all should have gotten one in the hands of Hetfield :P
Also a Reflex...
I love seeing jazz players using something other than 24 3/4 scale or Wes/Charlie Christian inspired tones. Not that either is better than the other, but jazz is a genre that deserves more tone...
Oh I didn't mean every one of his guitars (although that's probably true too). I just meant when the EBMM model came out, there was a video of him praising it's utility and humble looks, and he said...
Eddie once said that his guitars would be worth as much as Les Pauls one day. Little did he know that they'd be faked as much too :D
Awesome color. You're giving me ideas..
Also, I think Mesa and EBMM are great together.
Somewhat unrelated, but I was searching for older/90s MM electronics for a possible Bass purchase, and they were CTS as expected. But those were US Made back then. Nothing has technically changed,...
That's a great color. I know it's a standard option, but I don't think I've actually seen it before.
Can you order from Amazon? I clean with Murphy's oil soap and use Birchwood Gunstock wax. Any...
Come to think of it, that'd be pretty rad. I'm surprised one hasn't been made yet. The Valentine seems to come in every other color.
African mahogany appears to be about the same weight. St. V's guitar uses it (it weights 7 something lbs, like the Axis).. and she specifically made it for herself and other smaller people.
Not related to the Vault, but there's a sweet one off purple St. Vincent on Reverb right now (roasted flames and ebony fb too). I don't have the cash for it, but I kind of wish I did.
2018 Ernie...
Pretty much. They're both basswood with maple cap, but the Reflex has a mahogany block down the middle and is chambered. If I'm not mistaken, they both weigh around 7 lbs, give or take (the Reflex'...
True enough. It is relative. Also, I guess I'm used to the Reflex now that maybe it's just actually "big" and the Axis is relatively "normal" for EBMM. I swapped this from this site to demonstrate...
Not short scaled, but you kind of have the option of small bodies with an Axis (as opposed to the Reflex, which I prefer). At least for me. I'm 6'5" and an Axis is on the small side (I love them...
Nice. But I do wish you luck on finding another axe. I just thought it'd be a shame if that one went.
Nice guitar. Yeah, I didn't take you seriously or anything. Most people wouldn't limit themselves to one guitar (although I myself am silly enough to try from time to time).
