Cool!
Makes sense. I've spent $1800 on MB stuff in the last three months and *now* it goes on sale. Oh well, them's the breaks. I don't regret my purchases at all.
Gorgeous!
Gorgeous! Congratulations.
A buddy of mine plays a natural SR5 w/ a red tortoise pg and maple fingerboard. I've been after him to put a clear pg on it because it's got the most beautiful grain.
That's cool. I've never had anything but the most positive comments on the look and sound of my SR5.
My all-time favorite musician joke:
"Two bass players walked by a bar. Well it could happen.
Sweet rig! I love the concept behind the MoMark. High end bass amp...cafeteria style. It's brilliant really. Enjoy!
I'm a maple guy. But it's got more to do with aesthetics than tone for me. I think it's a part of the overall tone, but a very small part indeed. IMHO a very small turn of the bass control will...
Awesome. Congratulations!
Pretty cool. I dig it. Congratulations!
That's great, congratulations!
Does anyone know if this was a first for EBMM or not? If not, what else won the award?
Congratulations! Getting married (to the right woman of course) was one of the best things I've ever done.
I really, really love that bass. The pickguard sets the color off perfectly.
But it's hard to imagine loving an instrument more than I love my Cherryburst SR5 HH. The only thing I'd consider...
Not that it was a real issue for me, but I noticed the nut on the G side last night when I for some reason fretted the D string in the first position with my middle finger. My index finger felt the...
Better late than never...
Happy birthday BP!
I find myself using the 2nd position (outer coils) on my SR5 HH probably 85% of the time with my band. With my current eq settings (bass and low mids very slightly boosted, high mids and highs flat...
I recently replaced my Super Redhead (my amp the last 10 years) with a Markbass rig. IMHO they don't compare, the MB is better. I spent years using a SansAmp BDDI to get the SWR to sound how I...
Mine was right around a year old when I got it. It kind of surprised me. The way the economy is, it doesn't really surprise me that in certain places MMs sit around for a while. My buddy who...
I have a really nice P/J of another brand. It's a really, really nice bass.
I play my SR5 MM. :0)
Stunning really. Nice one.
It all depends on the kind of band, how often they rehearse etc. I'm basically too lazy to have two projects but if the right situation came along I might do it.
Congratulations! I'm sure you'll love your new bass.
Man, that is one sweet delivery you got there. I'm still reveling in the glory that is my new LM Tube 800 and 4x10 MB cabinet but you got the whole catalog! Wow...
I'm especially interested to...
Great post. I know exactly what you mean. My SR5 just has a knack for sounding great in a mix. Good gig!
