I had the exact same issue on my Silhouette Special. I probably over-tightened it at some point. I contacted EBMM and they were able to make and ship me a new one within a decent time frame.

"reflector knobs" I think I'm gonna give those a try.
On my Silo Special, Tele knobs pop up too high, strat knobs have gotten old and gibson/PRS style speed knobs are a bit too big. It's such a...
Good deal man! Those are sick knobs too.
On the unlikely chance you ever desire to unload it, I'll happily take on some credit debt to buy it. :D
In 2003 or 2004 I was guitar-hopping because my import Strat wasn't doing it for me, and I found a used Silhouette Special at a local GC for $700 or so. It was sparkle white, which I didn't care for,...
I remember posting on this subject a while back. I genuinely had no idea these were coming. This is great!
I would've preferred an all-rosewood neck on the SBMM version but I suppose that would...
AAAAGH I want one in that finish but I can never find them. It must've only been offered in 1 year.
I was eyeballing that guitar as well but had no intention to buy. Congrats on the purchase!! Let us know how you like it!
I thought so. Everything about this instrument looks wrong. Headstock is wrong, there's a retainer bar with no need for one, weird bridge, pickup/control spacing is way off, inlays are too large.
Mike was a taller, robust bald dude with a wickedly dry sense of humor.
How ya doing, keith? I remember you showed me how to work out the controls on a Morse model and properly showed me how to...
7 years! Wow, where has the time gone?
That's understandable on the no tours policy, especially this time of year. Let us know if there's ever an open house. :)
Well hey look who it is!
Are Pat Park and/or Mike Reiland still at Praxis?
I'll have to go look up that thread.
I'm telling ya... SBMM versions of the standard AL and the ALHH (roasted...
It just occurred to me that for all the cool stuff under the SBMM brand, there haven't been any Albert Lee models.
I'd love to see some! The ALHH is one of my all-time favorite axes. I'm about a...
It sounds beefy and huge in the BKP soundclips. That's kind of what I want, as my SS needs that reinforcement in the low end.
The pickup i stuck with for the longest in that guitar was a Crunch...
I actually did audition a CC in my EBMM a while back. ou can read about it here: My Custom Custom review.
In short, cool pickup but I'm gonna need something bigger and fatter sounding if I'm to...
I tried an Air Zone once - didn't care for it. Smooth but not aggressive enough. I preferred the Tone Zone.
I play .010-.052 on this guitar.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't most of the JP's gotten pickup upgrades and fret upgrades as well at the factory? I'd think that would add to the value of the guitar itself.
Had 'em plugged into a Friedman Dirty Shirley and a Vox AC30 reissue.
Overall, very solid guitars!! They have the typically awesome build quality and attention to detail you'd expect from an EBMM....
Little bit of an update... I've been using the Graphtech saddles for about a week, and they work great for what I needed! A little bit of a subtle rounding off on the highs and they feel good on the...
I've currently got my guitar in an HSS setup with Duncans and I'm facing an issue with this guitar I've encountered before.
It's my Music Man Silhouette Special and I've got an STKS7 in the neck,...
Awesome. Thanks!
If the graphtechs don't work out, who do I contact to order some?
Thanks for the suggestions, folks.
Bit of an update - I took the guitar to a trusted local luthier to have this corrected and some other adjustments made.
When I say "saddle drift" I'm more...
I'm tweaking my trusty Silo Special again, and I'm looking at the bridge... it's one of those hardtails with the bent steel saddles, like this:

Neat! I just traded a PRS for a Mayones and then traded that for a Morse Y2D. Hard to beat EBMM's necks, for sure. Congrats and welcome to the family!
