Happy Birthday, Sterling!
Hey Ho, letīs go!
wow great! I love these old EBMMs. I owned a similar one around 2008. A 1993 trans red HSH hardtail silo. It was superb. And I own a 1994 AL. The old ones rock!
nice one! Not a really Bon Jovi or Sambora fan, but they have their moments. This one is done really great from you!
hey Jeff, thanks for your open words.
Of course it was not very serious - itīs completely up to you, which guitars you collect and play.
And, yes you did try to own and play a Morse (I didnīt...
I'm sorry for you and hope you get the guitar back.
From your pics, sheīs a beauty - and yours!!
Damn - stealing guitars is absolutely beyond imagination
Go Jeff! Yess a Morse - That would be cool! :D
edit: a Morse.... or five
interesting thought. will try this with my reflex which I love but feels a little stiff compared to the Morse. Indeed Iīve set the tremolo that it just even sits on the body. If I bend, it moves.
Iīd say it looks like wood grain on your picture
Morse & AL
nothing wrong with this guitar for that price. nice one!!
but... having drinks and shopping guitars online can be quite dangerous ;):p:D
interesting, that they get their Pickguards from Pickguard Planet.
Good luck with your project. As beej said, wiring a new pickguard is not rocket science.
if it started life as an SSS, there is no cavity for a silent circuit, which should be there when made in 2009
Hi Spud,
Iīm not sure what you mean. I didnīt know anyone who had an rosewood neck-AL...
Steffen
the earlier ones are in NO way worse than the newer!
I have an 94 AL without silent circuit and itīs probably my best guitar in terms of resonance. it is not very noise because the pickups are very...
Youīre welcome. I collected a lot of pics but thatīs some years ago ;-)
I remember very vivid how excited the forum was about an AL with Humbuckers.... years before it existed!
The good old...
It looks very decent! Congrats to your job! If it was free - killer!!!
(I had an SBMM, and I had sympathies for it, it was nice, but still needed treatment. EBMM-level was not reachable)

I owned one. It has a V-shape that was more ponounced than on the EBMM Cutlass and very different than my reflex
OMG no! :D:cool:
The pic was from the forum, I guess from one of the "Open House" events.... maybe 2005
My reflex neck is thinner than my AL or the Morse. Both are thicker, the AL more than the Morse.
I have an "old" (pre Y2D) Morse neck.
Iīd say the reflex is more than a Silo neck or a modern Morse...

not sure about the standard Morse. May be a standard trem or something else. Doesnīt quite look like a Floyd Rose but I really canīt tell from this pic
