I've used the 9-42 for 20+ years. I've tried the thicker and thinner gauges and this has always worked for me. At least in standard tuning, my "D" guitar is 10-46 but that thing is an expert dust...

I keep all mine around 1mm at the 12th which I'm sure is considered low! But knowing proper set up I get little too no buzz.

I had that happen to me when I shipped a guy an OLP a few years back. I refunded him $50 and all was good. But that was a cheaper guitar. Hope it works out!

I'm a huge fan of the white. Black one is nice too. But man that white!!

34 and have a jp6 rosewood neck. This is the longest I've ever kept a guitar and don't plan on ever getting rid of it. I play anything from metal to blues on it and its fantastic!!
