There is a tension adjustment screw just behind the arm, but even loosening it off altogether made no difference at all. I'll try the screw in the back and see if that makes any difference.

As I understand it you can, but it needs to be released from within the block itself - there's no way to remove it directly from the front of the guitar. Apparently common on EBMM Floyds until I...
Thanks for that! I'm glad mine doesn't float, to be honest - far easier for string changes and palm muting, but I was just interested in the history of the model as I've seen a lot more Y2Ds with the...
2 quick questions relating to the Floyd on my Y2D, be interested to see if anyone can shed any light...
1) Why do some Y2Ds (like mine) have a non-floating Floyd with no back routing, but more...
Yep, I was really impressed - not a cheap kit, at all, and better than the loose Allen keys I was going to buy to keep in the case!
It's good to know that EBMM customer service - and the CEO - actually care. Reminds me a lot of the kind of service my employer always aims to provide.
Some years back I bought a second-hand...
Looks like a decent kit.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171203/94a9cf22cb461e03266165c22512da28.jpg
Registered my SM Y2D via the UK Music Man website and received a parcel in the post this week. Free Ernie Ball guitarists' tool kit - thank you Music Man and Strings and Things! I've bought Gibsons...
Gah... Stupid app didn't load the entire thread. Great sounding guitar and love the finish.
I’d love to, but it’s a long old drive from West Devon...
Those are stunning!
This one's sure shaping up as my favourite. I've played more this last few days than I have done for most of the last 2 years - and the Morse is the only guitar to have left it's case! My Strats,...
Awesome news - thanks!
Even for their Floyd-equipped guitars?
That's the plan - spent a couple of hours playing after my little boy went to bed last night. Fitted some straplocks and a lovely new leather strap!
It needs a polish again now, but once that's...
That's the only positive search result I'd found, but couldn't see a clear option. Worth contact if no luck with Strings & Things in the UK, though!
I think these are probably too deep, aside...
As above - my Y2D used to be a demonstrator model for shows here in the UK for the British EBMM distributor, Strings and Things. As a result, it's seen a lot of play wear on the pickguard - the rest...
I wonder if you might be able to tell me the production details of my newly acquired Steve Morse Y2D, please? Serial number G30268.
Thanks!
I've got it!

Got a phone call this afternoon - it's arrived in-store! Too late to go down there today, but I've arranged a few hours off work tomorrow so I can head down and pick it up - can't wait!
Just waiting for this one to land at my local shop. It's part of the EB MM's UK distributor's fleet and I played it on Saturday at a local guitar show. Couldn't access my savings account at the time...
