Thanks. I feel very fortunate that it ended up being as genuinely nice as it is. Previous owner is like my Doppleganger as everything that I touched was already right. All screws and nuts tight and clean with nothing stripped out, frets clean and level, intonation, relief and action set correctly, everything clean and working, even the trem set floating and correctly. Amazing and so rare. I have paid more for so much less. Kinda bummed it wasn't the overall 'project' or restoration that some have been which others have been but now really looking forward to just putting it to work the next few months. And, as modern modular guitars go, especially with the 3-pin Molex connector, the usual going through on this one was like a pit stop. So quick and easy.Yes, I have always though so. The Body on the LIII is slightly (3%) enlarged relative to the earlier Luke's but otherwise, yes, I think they are the same except for the chamfering.
Dude, that guitar is BEAUTIFUL! Congratulations!
