I always want to use the 0.09 gauge strings but whenever I try to get the RPS I always get the "Rusty" #1 #2 & #3 strings... I thought it's just not my luck.. that happened last year I tried to go to their branches but still the same all of their stocks of RPS are rusty,so I pass to RPS, but now I want to use RPS coz I got my LUKE but sad to say...it happened again, we had a show & I need to replace my strings so I send a guy to buy a 3 sets of it & all I got is a "rusty #1.2.3 RPS"!!! good thing I have a reserve 1 set for my Godin guitar....

Do you think it's in the type of the string or it's the JB music store handling problem?

I'm so upset at that moment..........

They don't even have MusicMan but they say that they are the best music store........

Thanks Nathan! now I feel good what you said on your email! I just wish that customer service here would be like what you have on your country...

Here in our country when you enter a music store:

Store manager/att.: Good day! may I help you?
You: how much is that guitar etc...?
Store manager/att.: oh! that's expensive!
You: What?!!!! What kind of answer is that.........

Very poor.... & if you want to test an instrument, it feels like they don't want you to touch anything, Huh!!!

Hi Richie!

Thanks for expressing your concerns - I'll relay them to our distributor in the Philippines.

Be on the look out for a brand-new shipment of Music Man instruments!

I have to agree with teokiatuan,

Im also from the Phil. customer relations and service here are very poor,

I recently got a set of Ernie ball extra slinky's but they were good... the bad thing is I can't find any flatwound strings or stainless strings in the PH..

Haha! So you're a victim also.... Now they don't have a stock of RPS 9-42 & super slinky 9-42... not only that, I asked a guy from JB,
"Do you have a Ernieball string cleaner?"
JB: no we don't have a string cleaner even in our branches...

I have no choice but to buy planet waves......................

This may be a bit of a tangent...but a friend of mine once worked in the Phillipines distributing hearing aids. One problem is the very high humidity there is horrible on anything metal or electronic.

Just wondering if you should be using the EB coated strings in that environment?

I've been thinking about that, since I got a new coated 9-42 that Stiffness sent to me....
