I was really missing a Bongo in the arsenal. Found this brand new on TB for a great price. Single H (now I understand the love for these) 5 string. Best part (besides the amazing price), it weighs an even 8 pounds! I've never had a 5 string this light.

Part 2, I just bought the new rig behind the Bongo. GK MB800 and two Neo 212 cabs. Sounds awesome!

Ohh, ...I see, ...8.8 pounds, right. :)

Anyway, ...I recommend EB Cobalts too, ...I'll try new Cobalt flats too when available at my store, ...until than check how regular roundwound EB Cobalts sounds on my Bongo 5 single H (Warning: non fresh Cobalts, no preamps or effects, bass direct into the PC sound card):

I used Cobalts on my Classic Ray, agreed they sound awesome. The strings on this are still brand new (they seller bought it brand new, tried it, decided it wasn't for him and sold to me). Once they wear out a bit, Cobalts are next.
