I just got a '79 Sabre and a previous owner decided to drill a couple of extra holes through the neckplate (I'm guessing to sturdy the neck attachment).
If anyone has a beater Stingray or Sabre with a 3-bolt neck, I will trade you my neckplate (which is unserialized and in good shape except for the 2 extra holes) plus a very healthy sum of cash. I can use either a serialized or un-serialized 3-bolt neckplate (for a Stingray or Sabre).
I can take a picture if you want to see it. PM me if you want to know how much I really need this.
