Some of you might remember a mention I made in a past thread about the 4x2 headstock shape not necessarily being done first by EBMM.
Here's proof positive that it was done (albeit in a backward manner) at least far back as the mid 60s by Gretsch:

FYI, that's a 6132 Corvette model.

Is it me, or does he body on that last one in particular seem to have some PRS-ish design things goin' on too?
