Well ladies and gentlemen I have had to bite my tongue about this for a while now but my wife and I had a scan yesterday and I can now tell....

My Skip (Kate) and I are gonna have a baby.:)

She is now 13 and a bit weeks gone so due date is late September.....

Just wanted to share.

Wow! That's the one thing better than expecting a new bass:D The hard work will be catering to Katies whims, like finding all kinds of strange food off season;)

Great news. Between now and September theres a few thing you have to do:-

Sleep lots. 'Cos you won't went the bairn arrives.
Buy loads of MM basses.'Cos you'll have no money.
Have meals out and go to the pub - lots.

Congrats, its the best thing ever. Really...

Yep its our first. Still don't know the sex of Roo (we decided to named it as I called Kate Skip most of the time)

Have one new bass arriving very soon as well. Think its best to wait for the 20th anniversary SR5 thats in the rumour mill at the mo.:)
 
I got all the scare stories when we told people my partner was pregnant. Yeah, most of them were true and there are some truly horrific pictures of us in the six months or so after our kid was born (lack of sleep doesn't make you look good), but it's the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Hope you've got a good 24 hour supermarket nearby! :)

Dude, congrats!!! Both of my girls are September girls, ones the 19th and the others 22nd. They are the best, it'll be the blast of all blasts. Enjoy it because it just flies by way, way to quickly.
