a challenge for you ..

80.6 % for me as well... Not sure about the first two question though... twas only on question no. 3 that I understood what the idea was (yeah, I'm slow, I know :p)

cool freaking test. Would have done better had the sounds not come from some god awful triton! 80.6 here
I've always been a "low-B" student (pun intended) but if Harvard says I'm a B-student, well that's pretty damn good, IMO!

I did better than I thought I would.

86.1%

There are some pretty subtle differences in some of those phrases.

Took it a second time and could only get 88.9%. I was hoping for in the 90's.

I don't know about this  :o
I got a 91.7 and I am by far the worst "ear player" I have ever known, having always been only a recreational player and never being able to pick up and play songs just by listening.
I am also a lousy tuner of the guitar and before electronic tuners always used the harmonics method listening for vibrations rather than matching pitch.

Maybe I can hear pattern differences and not be able to translate it to a fret board. I usually can tell when things sound wrong, but I can't listen to something and recreate whats right by ear.

Very strange - because unlike what the test says, I do not have world class musical abilities:(
