HI All,
I joined this little family in September 2006 after purchasing a fully loaded JP6. It's become my #1 guitar.
Since then, I've been interested in getting the BFR Petrucci, anticipating that its sound is significantly improved be the different body wood composition.
I've been holding off on buying one simply because such a purchase is a real luxury for our family (2 kids, stay-at-home mom, and just my income).
I found one not far away, at a good price. My wife is supportive of me getting it. Despite how much I want it, I feel the need to be careful with our family budget.
So, can I get a little help from you all, especially those who can compare the basswood Pets to the BFR pets? Any input is appreciated.
