So I bought my first MM a few months ago, a black SUB4. Our guitar player/singer is not one for commenting on my playing as I'm kinda a hired gun (I've recorded their past 3 CD's, bass player quit/fired, I was asked to go on tour as the replacement, the rest is history). But last night he said, "I knew you were good, I could allways tell that you changed at the right times and such, but now I can actually hear every note you are playing, damn you are good!", I think I blushed a little.

My old bass was pretty much mud, but now the SUB has fit so nicely into our sound.

Thank you MusicMan, I think I'm a new lifer, and a "real" Stingray is going to be in my near future.

That's awesome, I had that same kind of revelation when I got my Music Man to band rehearsal for the first time. I could actually hear myself and could pick out the notes. Its just such a great instrument for cutting through.

The thump and pop these Music Man Basses have turn heads, don't they?

The drummer on our Worship team noticed it right off.

I used to own a P Bass Black/Black w/Rosewood Fretboard, then I bought the Stingray Black/Black w/Rosewood Fretboard. He did not notice the Bass guitar change that I had made, but when the song started and I slide up the neck into that 1st note he flipped his head around so hard to see what I had that I thought he was going to fall off his stool........then a big smile came to his face. We both got a good laugh......:) He was very impressed with MM tone as was everyone else........

I'm a believer!!!!!!!!!!! OMB

!!!!!! Awesome to hear Loms!!!! :D

and remember to let me know if you guys are ever playng out here in Vancouver!

Should be soon!!

Is the Cobalt still around? We played there a few years ago and it was fun! What is the Asbalt? It seems like Wendy is booking there, she likes us! We played last year with Vancouver band Mongoose, they were killer!!

BTW, I gotta say that Alberta is my favorite places in North America. I've stayed at the Banff Springs Hotel near Calgary and boy was it awesome. The Rocky Mountains are stunning and the wildlife there is really abundant. Plus, there's nobody nicer than Canadians. :D

The sound of a MM is regal. It is purple robe, ring on the finger, sandals on the feet good.

Congrats on getting a little love. We all need that.
