This just in, my two straps from Steve. I will take a photo with each so you guys can get an idea. These straps are amazing. This is a win for bass players in the lightweight division.

Here are both straps. I love the neoprene with the special stiching the most. It is way superior over my Neotech brand neoprene strap. The leather strap has a special curve to it that goes better with the players body. They are both top notch. Thanks Steve "Dude" Barr.
 
Definitely gotta get me one of those neoprene ones. I have one like it from a different brand but it is too long, and my shorter leather strap is less comfortable. Can it go higher than you have it in the picture?

Yea I am going to be a skinny old woman like my grandmother. I am already getting veiny old woman hands.
 
OK, I practiced with this strap and it is comfortabulous. The thick padding protected my shoulder from fatigue. Long gig bass players with tired shoulders should PM Steve about this strap.

I must admit I didn't even test out the leather strap yet. I fell in love with the neo one and that was that.

acrylic instruments are fun and have great sustain but they are a bit weighty. I need to shut up about heavy instruments now. I sound like I want to play a piece of rice paper.

Dude, is that the Brooklyn Gear strap you sell? Looks wider than my Comfort Strapp. Or is it that Lisa is a tiny gal? Or both? :p

That's a Brooklyn Gear "Perfect Strap" which is a bit different from the original "Comfort Strap". They're in the midst of switching manufacturers again and the three I sent out to the gurls were the last of the second generation straps. I have to call Adam tomorrow to see if they have the 3rd generation straps in yet.

The leather "S" shaped strap is one of the custom "neck dive cure" straps I have Glenn Cronkhite (Reunion Blues founder) make up to my specs. The "S" shape to them helps out quite a bit on neck heavy basses like on that black bird you're trading in but is unpadded.
