A Naked Stingray?

It's a naked Stingray!!

Am I the only one who think this is ugly? Sorry to anyone who might have one like this - to each his own!

Whoa. That's weird. Looks like one of 'em Anniversary SRs without the PG. But that's not possible - the "PG" is part of the body, no? Weird, nonetheless.

Yeah it is a 20th anniversary ed - it's still fugly......

You can get those 20th Anniversary pickguards off if you really want to - and if you're really careful.

Looks fugly. I wouldn't leave it like that.

Yeah the 20th Anniversary pg is glued on not screwed on as a normal stingray

I thought the 20th anneversary had a maple neck.

I think Dr. Frankenstein thought the maple top was so cool that he wanted to show it off (not unlike the les pauls without the pgs). Then he exchanged the neck for a rosewood neck (unless they made a rosewood neck).

fugly's right though.

the pg is such the stingray part of the stingray.

I reckon it's an improvement on how they look with the pickguard. Yeah, it's ugly, but not as ugly as they usually look.

you can see where the pick guard use to be. the grain is a different shade.
