a problem with electronics of an axis sport

Hy all addicts!

I (or rather my axis sport) have a strange problem: (and btw, it has a piezo bridge)
whenever I move the selector from "piezo output" to "magnetic output", I get no out signal ! only when I turn the volume knob a full round and back, the signal is there. sometimes I have to turn it few times. and also sometimes the piezo signal is also "dead" and come back to life after playing with the knob.

I guess you'll tell me to take it to a tech, but anyway if you have other things to say,
like "Hey, I had the same problem, and..." or something else, I'd appreciate it.

I've had that problem, except without the piezo. I just hit it with contact cleaner and was cured, but since there's a piezo involved it could be an issue I haven't dealt with. good luck, I'm sure you'll get a good answer here.
