Added 13 pin GK3 pickup to JP6!

I added a 13 pin GK3 pickup to my JP6 so I can use it with my old Roland VG8-EX. Turned out well and sounds great.

Terrific. Thks for posting such good pics. Always wanted to fit one to a guitar but always bottled it.

Not sure my nerves would allow me to take a rotary tool to one of my EBMMs..glad it has worked out good for you.
I take it you didn't fit the bank button switches ?

Yes, the routing was very nerve wracking. I did not install the buttons because they would require more large holes in the body. I was thinking about putting them on the control cavity cover. I could always replace that.

Wow! I only ever went as far as installing the regular gk3 into my jp6. With the thin 3m doublesided tape, fits exactly in between the bridge and bridge pickup.

Turned out pretty stealth, just the mini-toggle and small GK pickup visibly different from stock when viewed from the front
