Adjusting Morse Bridge Height-tips?

I've been tweaking the truss rod on the new Morse and I've got it where I think it should be, but the high e side of the bridge needs to come up a touch because I'm getting fretouts on bends above the 14th-15th fret. My instincts tell me to raise the bridge and leave the truss rod alone since the action below the 12th fret is just about right.

How do you get at the bridge adjustment? Does the pickguard need to be moved? I'm not a setup novice, just unfamiliar with the Morse bridge.

If you're talking about Tune-O-Matic type bridge, it has thumbwheels on both posts to adjust the height. Turning them may be physically hard - my previous guitar had hex screwes adjusting the tightness of thumbwheels, and they were tightened all the way at the factory.

If you are fretting out past the 12th fret, you want less relief, and then you will need to raise the bridge. It's not too hard to do if you use a small screwdriver to turn the thumb wheels. Just be careful the screwdriver doesn't slip.

I loosened up the pickguard and got to the thumbscrews-it took a bit more raising of the bridge than I thought it should to eliminate most of the fretout. Now it's only the high E above the 17th-18th fret that seems "not right".

I'm going to take it to my local setup guru and let him have at it.
