Airport Pickup thread!

Let's get organized a bit on this so those flying in have one less thing to worry about since they'll be drunk when the step off the plane.

I can make a couple of pickup trips around 11:00-12:00 friday

1st trip passengers (unless I hear otherwise)

tommy
janice (probably tommy's lap, front seat, if you don't mind)

pete (the dealer)
pete's bro

2nd trip
SteveB
Mrs. SteveB
DaveB (unless he talks me into a trip before first trip)


Volunteers, say when you'll be in town.

I'll be on that same flight, do we know how long it takes to drive from the SLO airport to the area hotels? I'm at the Quality Suites... I haven't looked into transfers yet, so I'm not sure if I need a ride or not. Maybe I should reserve 2nd trip now and I can cancel later if I find out I don't need the lift?

It'll be me and my wife.

But I have to get the hire car back to SLO airport by 11am.

I thought the airport is like 5 minutes away.
(I didn't even know SLO had an airport until people started posting they'd be flying in, and I've been there about a dozen times )

if all goes well, I should be arriving at the SLO airport Friday at approximately 5 PM. I think there are others that will be arriving at that time, but I'm not sure. Nevertheless, if you feel like picking me up, let me know. It would be deeply appreciated, although I know it's very close to the pick-up moment at the hotels. I honestly have no clue about how long it takes to drive from the airport to the Sand Suites & Motel.

Only doing a couple of airport runs around noon when a cluster of people arrive. Expecting some others here to volunteer. Especially for someone coming from so far.

Whos' gonna help out Tokkes? Folks? Blokes?

I've got two back seats in a very small car... I dunno if I'll be any help......

I do have a somewhat large trunk for such a small car.... anyone that's free of and phobias can ride in there! I can pickup some people if anyone needs it?

I'll just wait and see. If someone pops up that can pick me up, cool, if not, cool too, I'll get there nevertheless (ahum, I mean, I have to, I've been looking forward to this for a long time now and it's almost knocking at the back door + I think I'm the only coming from the European mainland together with a few UK residents...).

Only 12 days and 1 + 14 + 1 hours of flying away. Time travels fast...

I just talked to the Quality Suites, where I'm staying, and they will provide free transportation to and from the airport for their guests.

So, if anyone would benefit from being on Keith's 2nd trip, I have two seats reserved on that run which I don't really need. Keith, thanks for your kindness and generosity!

I'm arriving at around 5:00 also. I'm not checking any luggage, so I hit the ground runnin' as soon as I get off the plane. If i don't catch a ride, I guess it's a quick taxi to the Motel 6. What arline/flight are you on?

What I really need is a ride to and from JFK to avoid the 3 days parking @ $24/day!
