I'm getting the money together for the Albert Lee 2006 LE, and I have some questions.
Quoting from the 2006 LE announcement: "These Limited Edition instruments will also feature a special 2006 Limited Edition gold silkscreen just below the neckplate. A custom pickguard, rosewood fretboard and Limited Edition case will round out the package."
So, if I've got this right, a 2006 AL would
1. be black
2. have gold hardware
3. 2006 LE below the neck plate
4. rosewood fretboard (not previously available on the AL)
5. LE case
6. custom pickguard
So, I'm only left with being able to choose piezo or no piezo, trem or no trem? Is that right? Anyone at EB care to comment on the custom pickguard details? If I read this right, I get no choice on the pickguard right? If this has been covered, then my apologies.
Also, my silhouette special is still for sale. http://www.ernieball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16419 Need $$$ for the new AL! Hate to send it off to the 'bay if I don't have to.
