I got this off of eBay back in May. I just now took pics. It's brand new except for a small knick on the headstock which you can see in the photos. It even came with this HS case!

Enjoy!

Right on. I didn't even realise you had a Bongo! I love the way the orangey neck looks. Man I love Bongers. When I have the cash I'll have to order one up and choose it's colour and everything. Real nice bass guy, and again, eerily well taken pictures O,o...

CG, you're killing me by not putting a towel behind the headstock in those pics, man! those bricks can put alot more than a tiny nick on it. I can't bear to look!

This has probably been covered before but one of the things I really love about the SR5 is the way the back of the neck feels. It has even spoiled me from some of my other basses. How does the Bongo neck feel being painted? Is it hard going from the feel of the SR to Bongo? Thanks for the responses. :)

It feels like every painted neck I've played. It's similar to the SR's - But I agree, I like the feel of the SR's better too.

Painted necks have a "smooth sand-like feel" - but not rough at all.

Cool, being that it is such a nice bass I doubt that it would feel bad. I am just curious because MM has been known for the way the finish their necks. I would be interested to know why they chose to paint the Bongo neck. It does make for a very good looking finish though.

This has been a concern for a lot of people due to the fact that a lot of your "cheap" brands paint their necks, etc. But there's nothing cheap about anything with EB Music Man logo on the headstock.

You can't go wrong with anything EBMM.

Do you know what kind of case that is? Who's the manufacturer?

It's a no-namer. But I suspect it's a TKL case. They're cheapies available from Musicyo.com.

What is the overall measurement on the Bongo for length? I might just build my own case and have it ready and on hand when I finally get meself a Bongo.
