Alternative JP6 knobs

knuckleheads: I'm looking to replace the JP6 black mini dome knobs on the JP6 with something similar but in chrome. I did put a set of larger chrome (tele style) dome knobs but aesthetically do not look so great simply because they are tall, I'm used to mini knobs on my JP's. Does anyone know if there is a maker/brand that have something similar to the stock knobs? I don't expect to have something exact due to copyrights, but similar or close to JPs, that would totally rock! Thanks in advance.

BTW. I tried to search on the forums but couldn't find any other similar requests.

I picked up a set of the Fen@#$ Jazz Bass knobs and used the larger ones on the volume and tone. The black knobs with the white position marker work out really well. I'll take a pic if you are interested.

thanks for the suggestion. I've had a few of those before. I'm looking for just chrome. I think that I have found what I'm after, hoping that everything fits on the shaft properly. I've spotted a dual concentric knob, but only interested in the upper part of it. they measure very close to the original JP knobs.

they measure just under a 1/2 inch in height (like the JP knobs). The shaft fitting is what's important, and by the looks of things, should work. They also have the hex screw to fasten, good deal!

I like that. I'm after converting my 3 knob Albert into a two knob. That may fit the bill?

OK, I checked the measurements again and those upper concentric knobs won't work, as I have suspected, the shaft is too small. I did find these instead (see link below) and have already placed an order. They sell them in pairs, so I'll have one extra. These come in chrome, black and gold.

Sorry if this is a noob question, but I have never had to change the volume and tone control knobs on my JP6. I don't see any screws like most guitars have were you loosen the screw on the knob itself then remove it, replace it with the new knobs then tightened the screws back, How do I replace my volume and tone knobs on my jp6? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Lift the rubber skirt. Screw hides beneath.
