I think this is the dual cabinet design where you can run it as two 4x10s or one 8x10. I know someone selling one for $750. I don't know anything about these cabs. Is this a good price? It was bought used in May of '05 and appears to be in really good shape.

I have fairly good knowldge of Ampeg products. I currently own the 810e....the price is "ok"...being that it's an aniversary bottom...they went for a bit more....no difference sept the grill cloth....700.00 would be a good price.....yes they can be "split" into two 4-10 cabinet configs....simple different input on the back....realize once you do this the impedence goes to 8 ohms for each set of 4-10's
 
Oops. It was bought NEW in May '05. Seller rates it a 9 out of 10 and it also sounds like there may be a little bit of wiggle room on the price.

I own an 810AV model, the tolex on the standard model is bumpy and heavily textured.

the Anniversary model has a much flatter tolex. smoother.
