I would like to apologise unreservedly for the thread I posted yesterday.

If you don't know what was in it don't ask - don't email or PM me I will not be divulging what was in it.

It was posted with the intent of being funny, but either due to the pressures of work or the fact I've just had my birthday and my humour is on the road to being my dad's rather than my own.... I don't know.. anyway. I am sorry for my post.


Admin - if you feel you must delete my account as this was not in keeping with the
spirit of the forum then can I request that you give me a short period of notice to recover some PM's to text files for sentimental value.

Guys, if I do get the bullet, it's been fun, this has been the most I've ever posted on a forum, and there's a good bunch of people here, just make sure look after this place, and post with respect.

i will say this tho...

not every thread that gets the boot is b/c its "bad". some just don't make sense in the context of the guitar/bass/strings forum but would be fine in a "random funny stuff here" forum if one of those existed.

not every thread like that gets the axe... why not? personally, i can only speak for myself, i leave stff like that if "i got there too late". ex: there's alreadya bunch of replies... or if i see another mod has posted there then i figure they deemed it "ok" if theyre contributing to it.

honestly, don't worry bout it. everything's all good

I'm not sure of the circumstances, but maybe starting another thread and drawing attention to whatever it was, is not the best course of action. Take it from someone who regularly gets himself into strife ;)
 
A remarkable amount of tension round these parts at the moment. Chill folks. This is supposed to be my vacation forum where I can kick back, relax and have fun, without the moronic antics of the other few forums I frequent. It's a great forum full of intelligent, knowledgable people. Keep up the good work and, in the eloquent words of David Lee Roth "don't sweat the little sh1t"
 
geeze Smelly, chill out... granted, the post was bizarre and pointless, but it wasn't a banning offence... you just got a really bent sense of humor... that's okay, but we don't want to turn our forum into a tabloid! ;)
 
I thought it was quite funny.

A bit "Off the Wall" but humorous never the less.

I don't think anyone would argue that we need something to lighten the mood around here at the moment.

I don't think BP would have taken it to heart................unless there was some truth in your claim. :eek:

Reminds me of my favorite clean joke (even though its about religion, it'll pass muster...trust me...)

Jesus is walking down the road in Nazareth and comes upon an angry mob, who are about to begin stoning an adulteress.

He steps in front of her, raises his hand and in commanding voice says, "Stop! Let that one among you who is without sin cast the first stone!"

A rock comes flying out of the crowd and BAP! hits Jesus a glancing blow on the side of the head. He looks up to see who threw it....
