I play alot & find I cramp up if I use 10-46, but sometimes 9-42 is a little thin sounding on some guitars. I've been using a set of 9.5-44 by another company that is kind of best of both worlds.
Slightly fatter than 9s, but easier to bend than 10s.

Have you guys at EB considered adding a guage like this?

Peace
Doug

No plans for a 9 1/2. We do offer single string gauges, so building the set that is perfect for you easy. Any EB dealer should stock the singles you need.

Thanks,
Greg
