A couple of us (me and Mobay45) are already booked in San Simeon (30 minutes from SLO) at the Sea Breeze Inn (ocean view, pool, big rooms) for $50 thursday 9/15.

We'll probably try and arrange dinner that night, possibly in Cambria's moonstone beach a few miles down the road. A terrific rocky beach with boardwalk. The Moonstone Grille has outdoor dining with great views, good food, and a bar. There's also about 25 motels on that road but probably all quite a bit more than $50.

Anyone care to join in?

I'm leaving thurday morning and arriving thursday night.. after driving all day, not sure what kind of mood I'll be in, but this sounds interesting.
 
I haven't booked my arrangements yet ... I'm trying to turn it into a work trip, so it'll be a last minute affair.

Don't get me wrong - I am *DEFINITELY* going and wouldn't miss this for anything. I've already filled out the form.

I just haven't booked the hotel or flight yet, 'cause I'll either be in San Fran for work the week before or week after, depending!

I'm gonna be there!

Now I'll just have to talk really really nicely to Keith so I can play one of his sweet sweet guitars (since I won't be flying with any of mine) .... ;)
 
I'm going to take advantage of the Open House to spend 8 or 9 days travelling up and down the CA coast. I'll probably end up in SLO area on Thursday.

BP, do you have any other resturant suggestions in the area?

Cool, I'm glad to hear it. Anyhow, I think I still owe you about $30 from the Silo deal and the only way to get it is to show up in SLO... :cool:

We might be jammin/showcasing a little there 12:30 - 3:30 friday before heading out to the Firestone.

im going to the open house with a buddy who has school friday till 11am ... if i can convince him to ditch class then ill come out thursday
