Hi. Just wondering if anyone ever tried removing the Luke (EMG) pickup covers. Don't even know if it is possible.
Thanks,

It's not possible
My understanding is that EMG epoxies these things on to the point where what jon says requires no further explanation. Therefore this post is redundant and states nothing further.

When I was a kid I used to hacksaw the covers off of golf balls, unwind the 23 miles of thin rubber banding and savored squishing the small liquid filled ball in the center.
:D

So what you are saying is that EMG's have a liquid filled centre but the only way to find out is to saw the cover off :)

Not just any liquid filled center, but a delicious blend of creamy nougat and caramel!

;)

What everyone else said. It's a pup inside, with a preamp attached and filled with epoxy.

So unless you feel like ruining 300 bucks worth of pickups....
