Is the Platinum package available for that show? I don't know that it would be worth it to you, but they have a certain number available for certain shows that guarantee you a ticket within the first x rows. (depends on the venue) And you get a meet and greet with the band after the show.
I was going to do that if they came close to me, but hey I'll get the chance to meet him in September. Just bring your guitar to the open house... You never know.
