Even though it's not that appealing to me, it looks to be a pretty rare color. The price is a tad high for the condition it's in, but I wouldn't be suprised if someone forked over the dough if they really dug the color.

Im really curious to see what the EB guys can say about the vadlidity of the claim that this bass is a NAMM show custom.

I thought I recognized that bass. I believe that bass is the same one as This one that The Low End had for sale. They have the same finish wear on the upper horn. The description from the low end site would seem to be where this guy got his information. This most certainly doesn't prove that it is in fact a special NAMM edition, because Brian Barret does know a musicman bass from a hole in the ground. As evidenced by him refering to a Bongo being in Lake Placid Blue and various other run-ins with forum members. If I remember correctly that was the same price Brian was selling it at originally.
